Pastor Dave and Cindy Jenkins will host a reception in honor of Will’s graduation from Mannford High School. Held at the Family Life Center on May 19^th, from 6 – 8 p.m., it will be a come-and-go celebration.

The family of Jimmy Brandly cordially invites you to celebrate Jimmy’s graduation from Mannford High School. They will host a reception in his honor at their home immediately following the graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 19^th.

Farewell Pastor Dave

As you know, June 3^rd will be Pastor Dave’s last Sunday to Pastor our church. His moving day is later that week, on June 7^th, and his birthday, falls on June 9^th, but he will not be here for it. On Sunday, May 20^th, we will have a potluck luncheon after the Sanctuary Service, to honor Pastor Dave and his beloved family.

As they are leaving, we will want to thank them, and reminisce about all the tings our church family has experienced since their arrival here, five years ago. We believe that their extended families will be with us as well, as they will be visiting for Will’s graduation.

If anyone wishes, to there will be opportunities to speak; there will also be ‘money tree’ to be presented to them as a going away gift. Please let Lola Headrick or me know if you have any ideas or plans for this event.

Living Room Service Sunday School

If you attend the Living Room Service, there is a Sunday School class to benefit you, too. It starts at 10:20, led by Cindy Jenkins, and they are discussing Beth Moore’s “Why Godly People Do Ungodly Things”. No book is necessary.

Positive Thinking

If you don’t belong to a Sunday School class already, the Covenant Sunday School Class invites you to join them. Shirley Wofford guides the class in the Family Life Center, classroom #5, at 9:00 a.m., and they are currently studying Norman Vincent Peale’s “The Power of Positive Thinking”.
